ZoomInfo has released a native connector that makes its business-to-business data available to agents inside Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise. The integration is in public preview and is intended to replace exported lists and separate enrichment steps with natural-language access to current account, contact and buyer-intent information.

An administrator configures ZoomInfo as a data store in the Gemini Enterprise console. Authorised Gemini Enterprise agents can then query the connected data as part of a workflow, while the organisation retains its existing permissions in both products.

GTM context becomes an agent data source

The connector exposes ZoomInfo’s GTM Context Graph rather than a static export. According to ZoomInfo, that graph covers more than 100 million companies and 500 million contacts, together with buyer-intent signals, company news and its Scoops business-event data.

That scope is relevant to sales and marketing agents because a plausible answer can still be unusable when it is based on an old job title, an outdated account structure or a stale buying signal. ZoomInfo says roughly 70 per cent of business records change during a year, a company estimate that underpins its case for live enrichment at query time.

Example uses include enriching an account or contact profile, finding organisations showing relevant intent and analysing recent commercial signals without leaving Gemini Enterprise. The connector does not by itself define the agent’s decisions; it supplies context that a configured agent can use alongside an organisation’s other connected systems.

That distinction helps separate retrieval from automation. A sales agent might use the connector to prepare an account brief, but any next step—changing a territory, prioritising a lead or starting outreach—still depends on the workflow, approval rules and other systems configured around Gemini Enterprise.

Administration stays inside Gemini Enterprise

Google Cloud describes Gemini Enterprise as an agent platform that connects business data, applications and workflows through a library of connectors. ZoomInfo joins that library as an administrator-managed data store. This matters because the connection can be governed centrally rather than created separately by each employee.

ZoomInfo says requests follow the access controls, permissions, data lineage and audit logging associated with the customer’s Gemini Enterprise and ZoomInfo environments. The announcement does not provide a field-by-field permissions model, so administrators will still need to verify which records and attributes each agent or user can retrieve.

The same ZoomInfo context layer is already designed to serve several AI surfaces, including Salesforce Agentforce, HubSpot Breeze, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Claude and ChatGPT. The Gemini Enterprise connector extends that strategy: ZoomInfo maintains the data graph, while customers choose the agent environment through which it is accessed.

Public preview sets a clear boundary

ZoomInfo says the connector is available to Gemini Enterprise customers across Google Cloud’s global location options. Public preview, however, is not the same as general availability. The announcement does not state a GA timetable, service-level commitment, preview support conditions or separate connector pricing.

It also does not remove the need for both sides of the commercial relationship. Access to the connector does not imply that all ZoomInfo datasets are included in every subscription, and a Gemini Enterprise entitlement does not automatically grant rights to ZoomInfo records. Customers should expect effective access to follow their existing licences and permissions.

The useful test is grounded workflow quality

The integration is most meaningful when current commercial context changes the quality of a workflow, not merely when an agent can answer a lookup question. A useful evaluation might compare account research, territory preparation or lead prioritisation with and without the connected graph, while checking citations, freshness and permission boundaries.

False confidence remains a risk. Continuously refreshed vendor data can be more current than a spreadsheet, but it is not necessarily complete or correct for every company and contact. Agents should preserve the origin and timing of a record so users can judge whether it is suitable for an outreach or routing decision.

The preview gives Gemini Enterprise a substantial go-to-market data source and gives ZoomInfo a native route into Google Cloud’s agent platform. Its long-term value will depend on the reliability of retrieval, the clarity of access controls and whether teams can turn the added context into repeatable workflows without obscuring how a recommendation was produced.
