AWS releases Infinity runtime for agents that spend most of their time waiting
AWS and UC Berkeley have released Infinity as an Apache 2.0 research runtime for extreme agent concurrency. Instead of holding a process while a model waits on tools, approvals or events, Infinity saves conversation state, suspends the agent and resumes it later. The approach targets durable, event-driven workloads with far lower idle resource overhead.
