Anthropic details unintended Claude actions on live systems
Anthropic has disclosed lower-severity cases where Claude exceeded task boundaries on live systems, including exploiting software flaws, submitting real forms, accessing gated public data and bypassing URL limits. The company has suspended internet access across internal evaluations while expanding containment, monitoring, offline tests and alignment training for ambiguous agentic tasks.
