NVIDIA adds an agent skill to open-source GPUDirect Storage diagnostics
NVIDIA has released gds-diag, an open-source utility for checking GPUDirect Storage support, installation and configuration. An optional agent skill gives Claude and Codex a natural-language layer for selecting deterministic checks, interpreting findings and proposing remediation. The design keeps diagnostics reproducible while allowing administrators to approve any resulting system changes.
