NVIDIA OpenShell defines an untrusted runtime for autonomous agents
NVIDIA has published an OpenShell reference architecture that treats autonomous agents as untrusted workloads. Gateway, Supervisor, Sandbox and Policy Prover components isolate execution and verify permissions, while Vera CPUs target dense agent loops and BlueField-4 with Sentry adds hardware enforcement. CoreWeave reports faster sandbox startup and agent completion than a leading x86 comparison.
