OpenAI reports major gains in coding for low-resource languages
OpenAI has published new evaluations for coding across 20 programming languages and behaviour-preserving COBOL migration. GPT-6 Astra averaged an 87.4 per cent MultiLangBench test pass rate, while GPT-6.1 Sol reached 97.9 per cent on the migration test at higher reasoning effort. The company is releasing the multilingual evaluation setup on GitHub.
