What is Kagi Assistant
Kagi Assistant is a privacy-focused, multi-model AI assistant integrated with Kagi's ad-free search. It supports web-grounded answers, files, research workflows, custom assistants and a choice of leading models without using customer prompts to train Kagi's systems.
Plans and pricing
As of August 10, 2026, the Trial is free and includes 100 searches plus 100 Assistant interactions. Starter costs US$5 per month with 300 searches and Assistant Quick mode. Professional costs US$10 per month with unlimited search, Quick mode and a larger Assistant allowance. Ultimate costs US$25 per month and adds Research mode and flagship models. Annual billing is advertised at 10% off.
Assistant use is subject to a fair-use allowance tied to the underlying model cost. Kagi allows additional payments when the allowance is reached. Unused plan value can be credited under Kagi's fair-pricing policy, and upgrades or downgrades are prorated.
Teams
Kagi Teams costs US$10 per active member per month for Professional or US$25 for Ultimate. Teams can mix tiers, pay only for active members, use central billing, and share search customisations. Ultimate team members receive the full Assistant model access.
