Kagi Assistant is a privacy-first, multi-model assistant grounded in Kagi Search. It supports web-backed answers, files, custom assistants, Quick and Research modes, native mobile apps, and switching among current third-party language models.

Pricing

As of August 24, 2026, Kagi lists a free trial with 100 searches and 100 Assistant interactions, Starter at US$5 per month with 300 searches and Quick-mode Assistant access, Professional at US$10 per month with unlimited search and a larger Quick-mode allowance, and Ultimate at US$25 per month with Research mode and flagship models. Annual billing is discounted by 10%.

Assistant use follows Kagi’s Fair Use Policy. Kagi says a plan’s allowance broadly corresponds to the plan’s monetary value in raw model cost, including a 20% margin for search, development, and infrastructure; users who reach the allowance can make an additional payment to resume access.

Model footprint

Kagi’s current Ultimate plan names GLM 5.1, Claude Haiku 4.5, Sonnet 4.6 and Opus 4.8 variants, GPT 5.5 and GPT 5.4 Mini, DeepSeek V4 Pro, Gemini 2.5 Pro and Gemini 3-series models, Mistral Medium 3.5, and Nemotron 3 Ultra. Availability is plan-dependent and can change as Kagi updates its hosted selection.

Developer API pricing

Kagi separately publishes Search API pricing at US$12 per 1,000 requests and Extract API pricing at US$4 per 1,000 pages. High-volume Enterprise access uses a custom quote with volume discounts, custom rate limits, support, SLAs, and onboarding.
