What is Kling AI?

Kling AI is Kuaishou's creative platform for generating and editing video and images, with separate creator memberships and developer API pricing.

Core offerings

  • Text-to-video, image-to-video, native-audio video and element-reference workflows.
  • Image generation, outpainting, multi-shot creation, upscaling and video extension.
  • Kling 3.0, 3.0 Turbo and 3.0 Omni video APIs.
  • Kling Image 3.0, 3.0 Omni, O1 and 2.1 image APIs.

Pricing

Kling's official membership surface lists Basic at US$0. It displays promotional first-subscription prices for Standard, Pro, Premier and Ultra alongside higher renewal and list prices; because these offers can change, buyers should confirm the live checkout total and renewal terms. The plans include 660, 3,000, 8,000 and 26,000 monthly credits respectively, with paid features including faster queues, high-resolution output, watermark removal, video extension and commercial-use rights.

API and model availability

Kling's official developer rate card currently lists four image-model families and three video-model families. Image models run from US$0.014 to US$0.056 per image depending on model, mode and resolution. Video rates run from US$0.084 to US$0.42 per generated second depending on model, audio/input mode and 720p, 1080p or 4K output. Image Outpainting is US$0.028 per image and AI Multi-Shot is US$0.07 per call. The API Cost page includes all current models exposed by that rate card, without older or retired catalogue entries.

Why select Kling AI?

Kling is a strong candidate when native-audio video and image/video generation need both a creator interface and directly published developer rates.
