What is Luma AI

Luma is a multimodal creative platform for image and video generation and editing. Its current Agents API documents Ray 3.2 for video and Uni-1 and Uni-1-Max for 2K image generation.

Pricing

As of August 30, 2026, Plus costs US$30 month to month or US$300 annually. Pro costs US$90 per month or US$900 annually. Ultra costs US$300 per month or US$3,000 annually.

Plus includes Luma and supported third-party image and video models, guest editing, and commercial use. Pro includes the Plus capabilities with four times the displayed Luma Agents usage. Ultra raises that Agents usage allowance to 15 times the Plus level.

Team, Enterprise, and usage

Team uses custom pricing and adds members, shared projects, sharing controls, analytics, pooled credits, and SSO. Enterprise uses custom commitments and can include training and fine-tuning. Generation consumes credits at rates that vary by model, resolution, duration, and mode; the live pricing page publishes the current per-generation schedule.

API pricing

The separate Luma Agents API is pay as you go. Uni-1 costs US$0.0404 per text-to-image output and US$0.0434 for an edit or one-reference request; Uni-1-Max starts at US$0.10 and US$0.103 respectively. Ray 3.2 starts at US$0.06 for a five-second draft video, with rates varying by resolution, duration, dynamic range, edit, extend, and reframe mode. Provisioned throughput starts at eight units and uses published monthly per-unit commitments.

Why select Luma AI

Plus is the entry point for commercial creative work, Pro suits regular agent-assisted production, Ultra targets substantially heavier usage, and organisational buyers should use Team or Enterprise for shared controls.
