What is Luma Dream Machine
Luma Dream Machine is a creative image and video platform built around Luma’s Ray model family. Its web subscriptions are credit-based and are commercially separate from Dream Machine API billing.
Core offerings
- Image and video generation with full Ray3 access on paid web plans.
- Upscaling to 4K, HDR on higher tiers, and priority processing.
- Fast and Relaxed generation modes on the Unlimited tier.
- Enterprise data controls and a separate developer API credit balance.
Pricing
As of July 20, 2026, Dream Machine’s web Free plan has limited monthly credits, draft-resolution output, lower priority, watermarks, and non-commercial use. Lite is US$9.99 monthly or US$7.99 per month on the annual plan, with 3,200 monthly credits, Ray3 access, 4K up-resolution, and high-priority processing, but it remains watermarked and non-commercial.
Plus is US$29.99 monthly or US$23.99 per month annually, with 10,000 monthly credits, Ray3, 4K plus HDR, commercial use, and no watermark. Unlimited is US$94.99 monthly or US$75.99 per month annually, keeping 10,000 Fast Mode credits and adding unlimited Relaxed Mode credits. Enterprise is custom priced with 20,000 monthly credits, the highest processing priority, commercial use, no watermark, and a commitment not to train on input or output data.
Model footprint
The published web plans centre on Ray3, but credit costs vary by operation and added features. Dream Machine web credits do not transfer to the API, and unused monthly web credits do not roll over.
Why select Luma Dream Machine
Dream Machine is worth shortlisting when Ray-based image and video creation, 4K delivery, and a clear commercial-use step-up from Plus matter more than a large third-party model catalogue.
