xAI's public API uses usage pricing. Grok 4.7 costs US$2 input, US$0.50 cached input and US$6 output per million tokens below 200,000 prompt tokens, and US$4/US$1/US$12 at long context. Other current text models range from US$1 to US$2 input and US$2 to US$6 output per million tokens at short context. Imagine output ranges from US$0.02 per image or video second on the lightest current tiers to US$0.25 per 1080p video second.

API and model availability

The API Cost page includes every model or mode on xAI's current official pricing table: eight text models, six Imagine image/video models and three voice services. Grok 4.7 Fast is excluded because xAI states it is not available on the public API.
